At 16 months old, Tic Toc was shown for the very first time at the PBGVCA Specialty Show on February 11, 2012. He was awarded Winners Dog for a 5 point major. His sire, GCH Gebeba’s Rio Bravo, was Winners Dog at the 2011 PBGVCA National Specialty Dog Show and his dam is our timeless beauty, multiple Award of Merit winner, CH Gebeba’s Yours Truly.
Tic Toc was also the Best Male in the Puppy Sweepstakes classes.

Debucher Delicieuse and Debucher Double Entendre have come to Gebeba from the UK. They flew across the pond at just 10 weeks old, the nice part about that is they were able to travel together and had each other for comfort and company all the way.
From the moment their feet hit the ground, their tails have been wagging. This is our first experience with GBGV pups at this age, they are lovely, affectionate, playful and somewhat mellower than pbgv pups.

French import Cezar de la Font Francaise sired his first litter in the USA. Pups were born at Skycastle. Skycastle in a registered hunting pack in Malvern PA. Mom, Skycastle’s Souza, delivered 6 healthy pups, 3 males and 3 females. Jim Scharnberg, master of hounds at Skycastle is delighted with this litter, Jim is keeping three pups and 2 have come here to Gebeba Kennels.
Pictured here is WALDHORN, I found this name among a list of unusal words, it is described as a valveless french hunting horn. I felt like I found a hidden treasure when I found his name.
Waldhorn is co-owned with Megan & Dave Esherick.
Here is Gebeba’s Grey Goose being show by Logan Mazanec. Thanks to Michelle Mazanec for snapping a great picture. Goose is one of the true beauties every breeder hopes for. However, she is as bad as she is beautiful, there is a devil lurking in those dark eyes!
The Mid NJ PBGV Association will be sponsoring a PBGVCA Hunt Test on Nove 26 & 27, 2011 in Elmer NJ at the DelSea Beagle Club Grounds. The test are open to PBGVs over 6 month old.
The first test your PBGV will need to pass is a Hunting Instinct Test. In this test, the judges will be looking to see if your hound has the instinct to hunt, there is no training required for this test, just bring your dog and your hiking boots and have fun. If you don’t want to just dive in unawares, the club will be offering Novice and Puppy learning experiences, this will give you more insight as to what you and your hound will be doing and what the judges will be looking for.
Attention GBGV owners! On Friday November 25, 2011, the club is inviting GBGVs to field practice and a fun instinct test.
Everything you need to know about where it is and how to enter can be found in the Premium List. Click on the link. MNJ_Hunt_Premium_List_Nov2011
Cezar, Larry, Spring, Guyard, George & I hope to see you there!
Finally, all the paperwork is in and back. Guyard and Spring are officially registered in the AKC Foundation Stock Service.
‘REMY’ AKA: Gebeba’s Riverboat Gambler was awarded Best of Breed from the 12-18 puppy class at the Schooleys Mtn KC Show. He was owner – handled by his co-owner, Liza Blizzard. This was the first breed win for both Remy & Lisa, we are so proud of both of you, CONGRATS!

Guy is learning to stack and stand still for examination but insist on high stepping it through the wet grass!
The earthquake is over, the tornado passed us by, Irene has gone away and finally the grass is dry enough to play outside. Pictured are Punkin x Dude pups at 7 weeks old.
